Rebecca Rubin
LCSW-C (Principal Owner)
Rebecca Rubin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Maryland since 1994. She started Disability Support Solutions LLC in 2012, with a focus on working with families of individuals with disabilities and navigating the State and Federal system of services and benefits. Rebecca’s goal in working with families is to help them plan and design the independent life they imagine for their loved ones. Rebecca offers guidance to families and their loved ones using a therapeutic, supportive and inclusive approach.

Rosemary DiGioia
RN
Rosemary is a Registered Nurse practicing in Maryland since 1992. Rosemary has helped to expand Disability Support Solutions in their continuum services which help families plan a sustainable model of advocacy for their loved ones with disabilities. Rosemary’s extensive community-based nursing background, plus her work with state and local disability services are valuable assets to future planning for families. Rosemary and Rebecca blend their expertise to create the best outcomes for individuals with disabilities in our community.

About Disability Support Solutions LLC
Disability Support Solutions provides a comprehensive, flexible and supportive approach to meeting the preferences of individuals and their families. Services are delivered with the goal of achieving an independent, self-directed, and fulfilled life.

Person Centered Plans:
Collaborate with team to develop goals for independence. Assist with changes to program or Service Providers.

Service Providers:
Evaluate, select, coordinate and mediate new or existing residential, vocational, and other support services.

Transition Plans:
Identify, acquire and prepare for Post-School and Adult services.

Entitlement Programs:
Search and assist to apply for Public Benefits and Funding Sources (e.g: DDA, Social Security, Medicaid)

Advocacy for Continuity:
Collaborate with Guardians, Trustees, Life Plans, and Letters of Intent to provide present and future oversight of services and quality of life.
